Chiropractic care focuses on disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and their effect on general health.  These disorders include, but are not limited to, back pain, neck pain, hip pain, arm pain, leg pain, and headaches.  Chiropractic Physicians utilize a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment.  A chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is used to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that are restricted in their movement.  These restricted joints can cause physical and chemical changes to the body that can cause inflammation, pain, and diminished function.  Chiropractic care affects the joints and tissues to help to restore mobility, thereby alleviating pain, muscle tightness, and allowing tissues to heal.

Massage therapy targets soft tissue dysfunction with a combination of deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy.  Massage is customizable to each individuals unique need to help restore normal biomechanical alterations and muscular imbalances.  Muscular imbalances decrease the body's ability to function at its peak.

Graston Technique® is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively address scar tissue and fascial restrictions through comprehensive training, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

The technique uses specially-designed stainless steel instruments, along with appropriate therapeutic exercise, to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. The instruments also are used diagnostically to follow the kinetic chain, to locate and treat the cause of the symptom as well as the specific area of pain.

Functional movement screens help to detect biomechanical alterations that make athletes more susceptible to injuries. Targeting specific muscles in training will help counter act these dysfunctions, restore proper mechanics, and increase neuromuscular control.

PPCSM offers Preparticipation Physical Evaluation that are accepted by Florida Middle & High Schools.

PPCSM provides Athletic Taping and Kinesiology Taping.   Kinesiology Taping is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion.  It helps to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce pain, optimize performance, prevent injury, and promote improved circulation and healing.
